It's tough to find suspenders for small kids, and these fit the bill. When my son was 2, it was hard to find pants that fit his waiste and were long enough. I guess with our nation becoming so obese, clothing makers are making childrens pants for the more robust children... either that or the ones with a badonkadonk trunk.... anyway, these allowed me to dress my son in pants that were not highwaters... although, my son loved to play with the clips on them a lot.
