My husband is a maintenance man and is bending and reaching all day. These are the only suspenders that will stay on because of the pin clip and the x style back. They have lasted for nearly a decade and finally the fabric was so ugly from stains and signs of wear that they had to be replace. My husband is a big 280 pounder and very hardworking man, welding and HVAC and such. He will only use these suspenders as they are the only ones that will hold up his carrharts. All the rest just slid off. None of his clips have ever failed, so frankly we are stunned by the prior reviewers comments and wonder if he was on the wrong item with his review. There is just no way the clips can wear out.
